The piece parts and vacuum motor for the Tornado CV 38/2 (15″, Model 91415) and Tornado CV 48/2 (19″, Model 91419) commercial upright vacuums. Both machines take the same parts on these two assemblies, so Tornado publishes one drawing for each and we list them together.
Find your part on a diagram, note the number beside it, and match that number to the first column of the table underneath it. Hover any dot to see what it is. Every dotted part opens in a new tab. Can’t find your part? Call us at 763-535-0770.

Hose Connection Piece – K503254008. Locking Ring – K503101109. Suction Hose, CV Models After 2010 – K63919340These are the parts the operator touches. The handle grip, the wand and its sleeve, both suction hoses, the upholstery nozzle and crevice tool, and the clips that hold the tools on the machine. They break for ordinary reasons — a machine pulled up a stair by the grip, a wand dropped on a hard floor, a hose that has been stood on — and every one of them is available separately rather than as part of a larger assembly.
Tornado CV 38/2 & CV 48/2 Vacuum Motor
1. Tornado CV 38/2 & 48/2 Complete Vacuum Motor – K406081402. Tornado CV 38/2 & 48/2 Vacuum Motor Cable – K664976003. Screw M4 x 12 – K730310604. Terminal – K66435510Four items make up the motor breakdown: the complete suction motor, the cable that feeds it, the screws that hold it and the terminal on the end of the cable. The motor is the expensive one and the one with a service life — carbon brushes wear, and on a machine running daily that is a scheduled replacement rather than a failure. If suction has dropped and new filters have not brought it back, the motor is the next thing to check.

Notes on these diagrams
Positions 21, 22 and 23 appear on the piece parts drawing but not in the table. They are the contents of the position 20 accessories kit — clamp, screw and dusting brush — which Tornado supplies as one part number. Position 4 is not used on this breakdown.
Two suction hoses are listed. Position 5 is the DN 32 hose; position 9 is the hose Tornado fits to CV models built after 2010. Check which is on your machine before ordering.
The screw at position 17 on the piece parts drawing and position 3 on the motor drawing is the same part number (K73031060), drawn twice because it is used in both places. One part number, two positions — the quantity column tells you how many each assembly takes.
Frequently asked questions
Do the CV 38/2 and CV 48/2 share these parts?
Yes. Tornado publishes one Piece Parts breakdown and one Vacuum Motor breakdown covering both machines, and every part number on them is common to the two. The width difference between the 15-inch and the 19-inch machine is in the brush head, not in the wand, hose, tools or motor.
Why are two different suction hoses listed?
Because Tornado fits two. Position 5 is the DN 32 hose and position 9 is the hose used on CV models built after 2010. They are separate part numbers with separate prices — check which one is on your machine before ordering, or call us with the serial number.
What are positions 21, 22 and 23 on the drawing?
They are the contents of the position 20 accessories kit — the clamp, screw and dusting brush. The drawing shows them separately but supplies them as one part number, so they do not appear in the table as individual lines.
Is the vacuum motor supplied complete?
Yes. Part K40608140 is the full suction motor assembly with its fan housing and mountings, so nothing needs transferring from the old unit. The motor cable and the terminal are separate items on the same breakdown and are worth checking while the chamber is open.
Some parts show Call for price. Can you still get them?
Yes. Two items on this page are not listed in the dealer catalogue, so we have not guessed at a price. Call 763-535-0770 and we will quote and check availability.
Looking for a different assembly? The Tornado CV 38/2 parts hub and the Tornado CV 48/2 parts hub list every breakdown for these machines, and the Tornado parts hub covers the rest of the range. Twin City Vacuum, Crystal MN — 763-535-0770.
