Frequently Asked Questions
One of my 10″ wheels keeps working loose. What holds it on?
An external E-retaining ring on the axle. Once a ring has been forced off and refitted it rarely holds again — replace the ring rather than reusing it, and check the axle retaining clamp while you are in there, because a loose clamp lets the axle walk and pops rings off repeatedly.
Does the 20″ nozzle come as a complete part?
The nozzle is listed as its own part and Tacony notes it should be ordered together with 19197. If you are replacing a damaged nozzle, order both so you are not waiting on the second piece to finish the job.
My machine sits crooked or drags on one side. What should I check?
Check the spacers and washers at the wheel and the shroud/nozzle mounting bracket weldment. A bent bracket or a missing spacer changes nozzle height on one side, which shows up as uneven water pickup long before anyone notices the machine is not sitting level.
