Tornado CV 30 & CV 38 Common Replacement Items

Tornado publishes a short Common Replacement Items list for the Tornado CV 30 (12-inch, model 91449) and the Tornado CV 38 (15-inch, model 91451). It is the manufacturer’s own answer to the question a service manager actually asks: of everything on this machine, what should I keep on the shelf?

Tornado publishes no diagram for these sections. The image filed against them in the parts system is a blank placeholder rather than a drawing, so there is nothing to number and no positions to point at. Rather than invent a picture, both lists are given in full below as tables, with live pricing and a link to each part.

What the two lists tell you

They are almost the same list, and that is the useful finding. A building running both a CV 30 and a CV 38 can stock one set of bags, one HEPA cartridge, one intake filter, one belt set and one pair of tools and cover both machines. The only thing that has to be bought per machine is the roller brush, because that is the one part cut to width.

Neither list includes a bag type by default beyond the Clean Breeze disposable. If your machines run paper bags or the reusable cloth bag, add those from the accessories pages — Tornado treats them as options rather than standard stock.

Frequently asked questions

Why is there no diagram on this page?

Because There is no published one for this section. The image filed against Common Replacement Items in the parts system is a blank placeholder rather than a drawing, so there are no numbered positions to point at.

Is this list different from the accessories pages?

It overlaps deliberately. Common Replacement Items is Tornado short list of what a service department should keep on the shelf, drawn from the longer accessories sheets. If you are stocking a store cupboard rather than fixing one machine, this is the list to work from.

Why does the CV 30 list have one part the CV 38 list does not?

The black soft roller brush, K69066410, is 12-inch and appears only on the CV 30 list. Everything else on the two lists is identical, because the two machines differ at the brush head and nowhere else that matters to a consumable.

How often should these be replaced?

Bags when full, and never run without one. Belts at the first sign of a roller that stalls under load. The intake filter whenever it looks grey. The HEPA cartridge when suction is down with a fresh bag and a clear hose fitted — typically about once a year in daily commercial use. Tools and brushes when they wear out or go missing, which on a shared machine is usually the same thing.

The full breakdowns are indexed on the Tornado CV 30 parts hub and the Tornado CV 38 parts hub.
