Should I buy the terminal wall on its own or the complete assembly?
The wall on its own (X1384) is the cheaper repair if only the moulding is damaged and the switch and terminal block are sound. The complete assembly (X2527) arrives with the switch, bracket and terminal block already fitted and aligned, which removes the rebuild step and the risk of refitting the switch out of true.
My Roam will not start with a charged battery. Is it the terminal wall?
Often it is the 42VDC momentary switch (X1523) or its mounting bracket (X1526) rather than the pack. A switch fault on a cordless backpack reads exactly like a dead battery, so it is worth testing the switch before replacing a battery that costs many times more.
