The 12-inch brush head fitted to the Tornado CV 30, model 91449, drawn as the manufacturer draws it. This is the narrowest machine in the CV range and it exists for the same reason narrow vacuums always do — it gets between desks, under fixed seating and down aisles that a 15-inch head will not enter.
Locate the item on the drawing, read the number stamped next to it, and find that number in the table underneath. Hovering a red dot names the position, and each row links to the part.

Moulded Part Ring – K50326170Six items on this sheet are specific to the 12-inch width and cannot be taken from a wider machine: the bumper K50324043, the glide sole K50591403, the top cover, the complete housing K40606970, the roller brush K69066410 and the belt set K28842740. Everything else — the adjusting wheel, the foot pedal, the wheels, the caps, the clutch and every fastener — is shared across the single-motor CV range.
The belt is sold as a set of two, front and back, because this head drives through a coupling clutch rather than directly off the motor. If one belt has gone the other is the same age, and changing both is the only sensible move once the head is open.
Frequently asked questions
Will a CV 38 brush head part fit my CV 30?
Some will. The adjusting wheel, foot pedal, rear wheels, lock washers, inserts, screws, side caps, coupling clutch and axle shaft are common to both machines. The parts cut to width are not: the bumper, glide sole, top cover, complete housing, roller brush and belt set all carry different numbers on the 12-inch machine.
What is position 16a?
It is the O-ring that mounts the coupling clutch, K50326170. Tornado gives it a sub-number rather than a number of its own because it is fitted with position 16 rather than separately. It is drawn in two places on the sheet and both are the same part.
The axle shaft is listed but I cannot find it on the drawing.
That is correct — Tornado lists K94121780 as “Not Shown”. It is a real, orderable part fitted to this head; the drawing simply does not have a callout for it. It has a row in the table and no dot on the diagram for that reason.
Yellow or black top cover — which does my machine take?
Either. Tornado makes this cover in both finishes for the 12-inch machine and numbers them separately: K50610390 in yellow, K50625560 in black. They are the same moulding and fit identically, so order by the colour you want to end up with.
Everything else on this machine is indexed on the Tornado CV 30 parts hub. The 15-inch version of this head is on the Tornado CV 38 brush head parts page.
