First, the 15-inch shell parts are width-specific and the 19-inch CV 48/2 uses different numbers for the same four items — bumper, glide sole, bottom housing and black top cover. Second, everything inside the head is shared across both widths, so a brush motor, belt, microswitch, adjusting wheel or fastener bought for one machine fits the other.
The red hard-bristle roller at position 9, K69066440, is the brush this machine ships with. A soft black roller and an anti-static roller are also made in 15-inch and are listed on the accessories page rather than here.
Frequently asked questions
Will a 19-inch roller brush fit the CV 38/2?
No. The CV 38/2 is a 15-inch machine and its brush head shell, roller brush, glide sole and bumper are all cut to that width. The 19-inch versions of those same parts carry different numbers and are listed on the CV 48/2 brush head page. The internals — brush motor, belt, microswitch, circuit board, adjusting wheel, foot pedal and every fastener — are shared between the two widths.
Position 3 is called Top Cover but the part I received was a housing. Why?
The drawing shows position 3 as the top cover and numbers it K40620080, but in its own sales system that number is the TOP HOUSING — the structural shell the cover sits on. The black cosmetic top cover for this machine is K40620600, which the drawing shows without a number. Both are listed in the table so you can pick the one you actually need.
There are two circuit boards on this diagram. Which one do I need?
Position 22, K66822910, is the main circuit board. The second board drawn beside it without a number is K66822900, the brush-motor PCB. They are different boards and both physically fit. If the brush motor is dead but the vacuum motor runs, it is usually the brush board. If nothing powers up, it is usually the main board.
Some parts show Call for price. Can I still get them?
Yes. The screw set K63032000, the brush head lens K50334520 and the cap K62865730 are not currently priced in the dealer system, which is why no figure is shown. Call or email us with the part number and we will quote it from the parts book.
