This section covers the complete tool range — the 2 inch x 6 foot stretch vacuum hose with straight cuff, the two-piece 54 inch button wand, the 17 inch crevice tool, the 14 inch carpet tools in screw-in clip and plain clip versions, the 5 inch upholstery tool, the 3 inch dusting tool and the hard floor tool — together with the parts you replace on a schedule: paper vacuum bags, the reusable cloth shake-out bag, the B352-5200 HEPA filter and the B352-2400 post filter. It also lists the two hose options, the flexible J1005 stretch hose with 90 degree cuff and the rigid J1006 hose. Twin City Vacuum has been selling and servicing Tornado equipment since 1956. Frequently Asked Questions
Which bags fit the Tornado Pac-Vac 6 Aircomfort 93012B?
Paper bags C352-2500 for the 6 quart machine, and the reusable cloth shake-out bag C352-1400. The 10 quart Pac-Vac uses B352-7800 paper bags and the C352-1500 cloth bag instead. Running the machine without a bag will foul the HEPA filter quickly, so keep a box on the shelf.
How often should I change the HEPA filter and post filter?
Change the HEPA filter B352-5200 roughly every six months in normal daily commercial use, sooner in dusty environments or after any bag failure. The post filter B352-2400 is a foam element behind the motor and should be checked at the same interval and replaced when it is discoloured or will not come clean. Weak suction with a fresh bag almost always means one of these two.
What is the difference between the stretch hose and the rigid hose?
The stretch hose J1005 is a 1-1/2 inch flexible hose with a 90 degree cuff and gives the operator freedom of movement for general floor work. The rigid hose J1006 is 1-1/2 inch by 4 feet with a 90 degree cuff and holds its shape, which suits detail and above-floor work where you want the hose to stay where you put it. Many operators keep both.
Do these accessories fit the older 93012?
Most of them do — the tool range, hoses, filters and 6 quart bags are shared between the 93012 and the 93012B. The 10 quart consumables are for the Pac-Vac 10. Check the Compatible Models section on each product page, or call 763-535-0770 and we will confirm it against your machine.
Can I buy a complete tool set rather than individual pieces?
Call us at 763-535-0770 and we will put a set together from the parts above to match how you actually use the machine. We can also quote the High-Up Tool Kit X6005-HU if you need overhead reach.
